Here’s an interesting little something I learned from Carspace.com.
There is a new California state campaign that is trying to get people to stop changing their oil every 3000 miles.
The campaign is centered around the “3000 mile oil change is a myth” tagline. Today’s vehicles and today’s manufacturers actually recommend oil changes at less frequent intervals.
They even have a website http://www.3000milemyth.org to help get more information out there to the public.
Check out when your manufacturer recommends oil changes for your group follow that schedule. It will help keep more money in your pocket and more on supply for everyone. (oh yeah, and it’s good for the environment)
